This post is a bit late but hey, this is my blog. hehe. I wanted to post pictures and random thoughts of things I had to deal with or things that would pop up in my mind whenever I’m in school. Since I can’t really define these in a specific category, I’ll just label this as ’school stuff’.

1. Shoes – SNEAKERS

After a long and tiring debate (with myself), I finally submitted myself to buying a couple of Chucks. Since I’m exempted from wearing the uniform, I knew I had to get something more comfortable whenever I run the halls of the school (yeah, just like John Mayer’s song). I’m more of a Puma fan but I had to concede and buy a pair of Converse shoes only because I couldn’t find a simple one in the former. I didn’t have any other rubber shoe that had a lace and I needed one for my PE subject so I had an excuse to justify the expense.
2. Night Owl

Everyday, I went to school at night because I still had classes even at the late hours (up to 9pm! on Tuesdays and Thursdays). I’d usually grab a couple of drinks to hydrate myself at night and eat outside, usually at a Siomai sa Tisa branch in front of the main campus of University of San Carlos just to get my fix for dinner. Anyway, I’d still have to work when I’m at the office. This is pretty tiring for me because after my classes at night, I’d have to go directly to the office by hiring a taxi as I’m already tired whenever I have to take the public jeepney to IT Park.
3. Class Schedule

I don’t know how many times I’ve stressed this out in my blog but last semester’s schedule (like any other schedule that I ever had) was pretty hectic. You might think that it’s really not that confusing but mind you, aside from having to study during the day, I had to work and spend 9 hours at the office at night from 10pm to 7am. I also maximized my time and took 20 units of study load that’s why it added to my dreary state wherever I was at.
4. LUNCH!

Last semester was also unhealthy for me. Aside from not having enough sleep, I’d usually buy fried chicken at Tagala’s Chicken in front of the Talamban Campus. I love this chicken because of their sauce and the skin. haha. I still eat a full meal at times but sometimes I just can’t resist eating these school favorite. I also had to keep myself full because of the energy that I needed to go through the day since I was awake most of the time. As a result, I actually grew big instead of getting thinner because I never deprived myself of food. I also bought some fruits, usually an orange to get that much needed boost whenever I’d need some vitamin C to also keep me awake.
5. School Shuttle

When I’m at the Talamban campus, my room is situated at the Arts & Sciences building which is pretty tiring because you’d have to hike (not walk) going to my classes. Not in my case as I take the school shuttle to get me to my destination. Having a room that’s far is at times an advantage because you can get a little exercise that’s necessary but when your class is at the middle of the day and you just got off from work, you’d rather hire a shuttle and pay 5 bucks than torture yourself under the scorching heat of the sun.
6. Fountain

Free water! haha, like I said before, I needed to hydrate myself most of the time because I seldom bring a water bottle with me and I’d most likely forget to replenish liquids that had been lost in my system. Good thing there are reminders like these put up in strategic places in school so I can drink. Only problem is at the Main campus, the water current usually doesn’t go as fast whenever I’m at the 4th floor.
7. FIELD TRIP

Haha, field trip. I wondered how I was able to attend this one even if I already had a busy schedule at work. I could’ve just gotten a pass since I already have a job that would serve as my excuse but I liked the teacher and the class. I felt like a teenager again surrounding myself with my classmates on an excursion to the South for my Hist15 subject.
8. Bible!

Because of my Religion subject (ReEd30), we were required to bring a bible whenever we’d have a class. So, as an added baggage to my messenger bag, I’d have to endure an extra bump to comply. It’s a good thing I’m done with the subject. It’s the subject that I had the lowest grade too! Just because I don’t conform to what the teacher wants (she’s old), doesn’t justify why she should give me a low score. It’s just a case of minor subjects wanting to feel important. I’m just glad that I’m done with it.
9. Doodling

When classes get so boring, I try to find ways to entertain myself. Apart from taking pictures of random things with my point and shoot camera, I normally doodle; if you even call it normal. I can’t seem to stop doodling, thinking that time will pass right away. But come to think of it, it usually does. haha. I just do my best not to get caught.
10. Sleeping in CLASS!

This has to got to be the best part in school. Mind you, although I comply with my responsibilities and projects, I find time to sleep aside from doodling. Sometimes I wonder why I just don’t skip the day altogether but I guess I gave true meaning to the phrase “physically present but mentally absent” especially when I don’t like to listen. Somehow, I always get away with it; probably because I still don’t disappoint myself during exams.

So that’s it, for now. I still have a lot of random things to talk about but it would be overkill to think about other school stuff that comes to mind. Finally, I’ve posted this entry!
