The Hong Kong Mass Transit Railway is one of the things I love about Hong Kong. Transportation is so efficient and fast. Aside from that, it’s also very good for the legs; what with all the walking going on in order to reach one destination and another.

My brother was able to buy a 2nd hand iPod Classic at a pawnshop and I’m amazed at the price that he bought it for. He was able to buy it at a good deal and I’m actually tempted to get one for myself. Even my other brother ordered headphones for himself online through a friend who’s currently outside the country. All these purchases make me want to join the temporary craze and buy something for myself – even just a good phone with a quality camera.

Exhausted. That’s how I feel these days. My projects are coming to life and I’m implementing them in my blog. Somehow, I’m getting more and more serious at this and I’m investing more of my personality in my site which makes me wonder if all I’m doing it too much or it just comes out naturally.

It was a short break and I wanted to explore some more. But there was no time available anymore. At least now I have a cheaper place to stay in case I go back for the third time.

I loved the place, I loved the crowd. So full of life and so crazy too!

I’m back home again after a six-day vacation outside the country. It was a good trip as I didn’t spend a lot of money because of some expenses that were subsidized due to it being sponsored one. I’m happy but tired as usual. I think this is a normal feeling whenever one has too much vacation.

I had a conversation with a former team mate over lunch about what’s going on with our work life. We’ve been with the company for over five years and she’s been planning on transferring to another job that pays a premium for a Spanish-speaking skill. I shared my piece and said that she should try as the premium is already a good reason to pursue another career in a different company.

I’m currently in Hong Kong because of an invite from an airline company to promote its inaugural flight. A lot of things happened and I never thought about this new media being that in-demand. I’ll be sharing more information about this later on but I’m really happy to be out of the country again.

Tickets are printed and I’m not ready yet. I still have a couple of days to pack my things so I can travel back to a destination I once had the chance to set foot on. At least, costs are subsidized now and this is an unexpected trip that I’m thankful to have.

Last week was a blur of social gatherings and I wasn’t so sure if it was what I expected in the first place. Meet-ups and sideline jobs that aided in giving me extra cash to spend which resulted to expanding my network but maintaining my balance at the end of the month. I’ve been saving a lot to pay off old debts but I still have upcoming projects to think about.

I’m hoping that things will push through and they will deem my credentials qualified to add more value to their ongoing marketing strategy. I do have some spunk and quality output but it’s still up to them to decide. I wish to tell them that they’ll be losing a very good target audience if they don’t accept the offer that’s been presented.
