bohol trip

Went to Bohol two weeks ago with other people at work. T’was a bit expensive but I got to mingle with people I know.

Bohol Trip:

  • Hanging Bridge
  • Chocolate Hills
  • Alona Beach
  • Island Hopping
  • Man-Made Forest

Still working my entry about the place.

man made forest in Bohol

Just got back from a trip with former colleagues in Bohol, Philippines. It was a good 3-day trip though it was costly due to the number of people who were present as opposed to the people who confirmed to join.

Anyway, I still had fun and I was able to drop by the Man-Made forest in Bohol which is just a sight to behold due to the green canopy that covered the sky.

sayote for dinner

I don’t mind eating all veggies for dinner. Sayote doesn’t seem to mind either. These days, we’ve been gobbling greens due to the lack of funds and budget at home. Somehow, I like it better considering that I’m living a healthy lifestyle *cough*cough*.

Still my greens are limited but when it’s good then I’ll eat it.

sayote

I read in Pugad Baboy that sayote is a good substitute for apples in making apple pies because of the texture. Instead of putting all apple fruits in the pie, they mix some sayote in them for added volume minus the cost.

I attended an acquaintance party of some law students in a University. I served as their photographer picture-taker at the time. One of the sponsors of the event were a known alcoholic beverage company so I got a fair stash of some gins and rums.

You take one down and pass it around… how many left?

Yogo yogurt

Somehow, the list of yogurt stands here in Cebu has been sprouting like mushrooms. It’s good news for the health-conscious or even for people who are looking for alternatives aside from getting a frappe or latte in a coffee shop.

For me, so long as more and more options are being put up in order to get some free WiFi connection while chilling in a modern and yet cozy environment is good because I have more places to choose from.

Here’s my write-up review on a cafe that I chilled at: Yogo Yogurt at Coffeecat Cebu

Is yogurt spelled with an H? Yoghurt?

mango float overload

I didn’t finish the whole plate. But I could if I wanted to. I attended a party and I was hired as a cameraman just to take pictures of the event. I was happy that I got free food for dinner; free food actually makes me high — I guess everyone agrees.

Anyway, was glad when this huge mount of mango float was laid before me for us to share. I gladly took my time eating this dessert. This is one of the few treats that I can make without any hassle.

toasted to roasted

This site has become sort of a short update on random things that have been happening lately. I put in a picture or two and add a caption and some. Here’s another random post of how my arm has progressed from being red to tan in a couple of days.

Went to the beach but didn’t really stay long in the sun. However, during the bus trip back to the city, I placed my arm on the window for a couple of hours and I fell asleep while at it. The rays hit my left side directly and I didn’t bother moving because of being too tired already. This is the result.

Toasted to roasted; though I don’t think there’s any difference.

Boljoon waters

Located South of Cebu, I was able to hit the beach again in Boljoon.

I loved the water and I was able to use some fins too!  Hanging out with workmates helps in creating a better bond especially when you’ve known these people for a long time. I didn’t have to pay much for it but I still wanted to stay some more. I didn’t want it to end right away.

Will be posting another entry about this is in my travel blog. It’s nice to have team outing adventures since it’s a lot cheaper due to the number of people who are also participating.

Thanks to Nathaniel for some of the pictures!
