I’m loving the blanket in my hostel. It’s really comfortable and it smells good, well during its first uses. The good thing is that they replace it when necessary when they do housekeeping. I’m not familiar with the fabric but it’s really soft to hold that’s why I look forward to sleeping.

I’ve been looking for some good policies that I could use for my travelling in Southeast Asia. I’m lucky to have found something before that big trip despite the limited time to prepare. This shouldn’t be the case if ever I go out next time because being unprepared for something this huge of a travel adventure is something you should let the wind decide.

I’m not too musically-inclined though I’ve always wanted to learn how to play a musical instrument. Back in my grade school days, my cousin had this Saturday piano class and I always wondered how it would be like if I knew how to play the piano. But then I didn’t really take the whole music in full swing and I just resorted to listening to songs from my pop’s collection.

We’re renting an apartment here in Cambodia for a month. It’s a lot cheaper because we pay by the month which means that we were able to get a discount compared to paying on a daily basis. Somehow, we had to find ways to customize our room because it wasn’t working for us at the time. Now that we’ve ironed out some items, it looks cleaner now.

I arrived at my friend’s place in Bangkok where she’s letting me stay for a couple of weeks until I can find a place for myself. It’s nice cause it took us some time to prepare for this trip and now that it has come, we now have a temporary apartment to crash on.

I have been wanting to get an ipod touch for the longest time. I know I’ll be able to put it to good use when I travel and when I want to listen to some music or play with files and other multimedia platforms installed. But ultimately, I just want to have something to keep myself busy when I go on the road.

I wonder if my bag is too big for me for this backpacking journey. I’ll be gone for how many months and sometimes it’s a bit of a hassle to carry a big backpack with me but what can I do? I need to travel to these places and I also have to work  so I should sacrifice a little to gain something else.

I went to Vietnam during the first phase of the travel. I was wondering if I’ll buy some souvenirs for myself but then I realized that we’re still at the beginning of this whole location independent lifestyle so I better keep my expenses to a minimum.

Been looking for hostels to book so I can reserve some rooms for our Vietnam trip. I’m getting loony because of not having enough information and especially time to think about what is going to happen next.

I haven’t been able to surf online as much the past few days because of a current activity that I am involved in wherein we were travelling to different destinations in the North of this area.
