I’ve been sorting out old photos just so I could have a better placement on my hard drive. It makes me grin at some point because I could still do so much with the stock pictures that I have. I’ve been neglecting my skills lately when I know I shouldn’t. But I have a pretty good excuse since most of the time, I blog in order to earn some extra income for me to save up on. It’s nice because somehow my dropping of entrecard to other sites has worked somehow and now I’m receiving some opportunities online to work on. I wish to stay on this level and I’m praying that nothing will hinder me from ever stopping. I hope my brothers can also do the same as this is something that one can look forward to especially when we can combine this as a sideline that all of us in the family can benefit from.

So upsetting to know that after checking out another person’s blog link, I was suddenly removed from his list when he was the one who initiated the exchanging in the first place. Well now that I found your homepage not listing my blog, I’ll say goodbye to you bozo!

Somehow, blogging and creating entries are much easier for me to do when I’m outside. When I’m in a food shoppe with free wifi connection and a good table to boot.

I just go to a certain corner and bring out my laptop and just blog, blog, blog. I usually get more entries done than when I’m at home or even at our lounge in the office. Probably because of the placement and setting. The mood is good because it’s cool and somehow, I get pressured to come up with entries as soon as possible because of time constraints compared to just sitting all day staring at the computer screen and taking things for granted because I know that I have unlimited internet connection. Anyway, I’m ranting now. hehe.

Feeling all better now, I should head back to the gym. It’s been 4 days since I last got some exercise and I’ve been burning some cash not being able to utilize the membership. But it’s understandable since it would be useless as well if I were to go but my body has been needing some rest.

Anyway, I finally got to meet a number of bloggers because of joining an activity in an island adventure. It was nice to see new faces, it expands the network as well as foster a good atmosphere in the blogging industry.

I’ll find some direction now.

Good luck to me, after two months of hiatus, I’m back in ODesk. Hopefully, this job will be my gateway to other jobs that I can maintain in my freelance career, if I ever even have one. i

I wish I can really boost my career here, I need the money in totality but I’m not really confident with the skills that I have. Like any other person in odesk, BUYERS have a hard time looking for PROVIDERS and PROVIDERS also have a hard time looking for BUYERS. When things are supposed to be much easier, because of the traffic or the number of applicants who apply but are only good up to the setting up, they are not able to keep up with the maintenance. So is the same for employees who are trying to showcase their skills to the employers. There is a bit of a difficulty when it comes to proving one’s worth with regard to the feedback given and asked.

I created a banner out of boredom. Hehe. Hopefully, I’ll be able to use this in my friends’ sites just for spite without having to pay. hehe.

So yesterday I had the pleasure of attending a Bloggers event here at the Waterfront hotel called the DigitalFilipino Club and Bloggers Networking Event. I got to see a number of bloggers in Cebu who attended the event and it was cool that I get to see some of the faces behind the blogs. There were about 120 who registered, presumably all have blogs whether it be in Blogspot, Wordpress, Multiply, Friendster or even Twitter.

Anyway, it was weird being able to introduce myself wherein I talked about the 5 blogs that I own. I’m a shy person which explains the feeling. haha.

Saw some familiar faces during one of the Meetups that was initiated in istorya.net but I didn’t get the chance to mingle (read: shy again). Good thing I have a couple of friends with me or else I’d stick to the wall.

Honestly, I wasn’t really that engaged because I haven’t had sleep for how many hours already and I was too weak to smile, though some people would beg to disagree. hehe. But the food was great and it’s what mattered to me most.

I want to change the header of my site. Somehow, I’ve been looking for a good picture that would also represent it or so long as it’s something I could make that would be good. However, I’ve been having a hard time looking for one. When I finally did find something though, after some editing and changes, I felt that it looked good already. However, when I tried pasting it in this site, it didn’t complement the background and the layout and overall theme. Bummer. I didn’t want to change the whole layout again so I decided of just posting it for the sake of posting it.

Now I’m still on the lookout for that great header. Maybe I should just utilize this for my multiply site.

I love taking pictures, I already have two cameras with me. One waterproof cam that’s lost its waterproof factor (it cracked because of poor use) and one professional DSLR that hasn’t been used as much (time constraints).

That’s why I created another site that catered to my interest photography.

I use the point-and-shoot camera for situations that require me to be subtle just so I can take a device with me to capture good moments. I use the professional one in order to hone some skills (if I have any) to understand the complicated life of aperture, area of focus, shutter speed et.al. but I’m still unsuccessful in doing so.

I want to take this hobby to a higher level. However I’m still preoccupied with time because I keep on complaining that I don’t have time (hehe).

Today’s supposed to be a Study day since it will be our finals tomorrow and the rest of the week. I should be studying but I’m not.

What am I doing? Blogging, working on my sideline and catching up on the net. I’m totally addicted to finding some extra income online.

Good if I utilized the time to rest and sleep but NO, I refuse to rest and take a break when I could do so many things. I know that later at my shift, I’ll be the one having a hard time coping with the quota that we need to do. I know I’ll be able to meet the requirements, but I have to work double time which adds a lot of pressure on my part since it will be our exams tomorrow.

I have papers to read, projects to finish but I have to sleep. I’ll just procrastinate again.
