Tomorrow I’ll be back to the school, I’ll be going to Informatics to continue my Web Design course. I called the instructor again and he told me that I can already drop by tomorrow to learn the Photoshop and Dreamweaver. During the time that I was in hiatus, I just did my regular job which was pretty tiring since I’m bored most of the time.
Tomorrow, I need to work on the double as I don’t the know the topics and I suck at flash and photo editing. We’ll see what will happen.
I’m still waiting for my classmates to finish the HTML and CSS topics of a short web design course that I took up under a government scholarship. I got exempted for the first two weeks or so since I’m already done with the topics that I mentioned and I was just there for the Photoshop and Dreamweaver.
When I called the instructor on the status, he told me I should call again next week as it’s been taking him a bit of a time to teach the basics of the course. Hopefully, I’ll be able to join this week as the time is too much already. I need to learn as much.
Sticks and stones may break my bones, but as long as I have feet I will walk and travel.

School
I’m now taking a Web Design course wherein I spend 3 hours from Monday to Friday for 2 months. I am under a government scholarship which makes me one lucky bastard as I don’t have to pay for anything as of the moment. I wish to improve my skills in designing websites as I want to get serious in also creating and understanding Photoshop and Dreamweaver. Hopefully I’ll learn something.
Office
I’m still working in a business process outsourcing company but now I work on the day shift. Though I’m supposed to have more time to sleep, I usually still don’t get enough rest because of my body clock still adjusting the extra hours that I have.
Blog
I have 5 blogs in total and I more or less update on a weekly basis unless. 5 blogs is really tough but I’m still able to manage. I still earn while blogging.
In my spare time I travel to places, going to the beach to unwind and de-stress; only to be bombarded with Monday-shift blues. It’s been a roller coaster, but it still hasn’t reached its stop. So while it still hasn’t ended, I’m just here enjoying the ride. Peace out!
I usually wear sneakers when I go to school. It’s comfy and I don’t have to worry running to and fro the office. I plan to use slippers one of these days but I shouldn’t have any work at the office as I have to work first before I go to school. Anyway, chucks for school is really a great and comfortable way to go.
I’m planning to get some Sanuk shoes next.
I’m glad that somehow I got exempted from the TESDA class for the next few days until the class will be done with CSS. I somehow know the basics already so I was tasked to return once we tackle Photoshop and Dreamweaver which is what I’m looking forward to.
At least now I get to lounge more at home and take some time while I rest after my shift during the day. I needed the extra hours of non-work to get some stress out of my system.
I got exempted! hehe.
My instructor saw that while doing some of the HTML codes he was lecturing, I was given a free pass until we will be done with HTML and CSS. At least I wouldn’t have to deal with the basic stuff though my skills in CSS aren’t that great, I know I can still tweak with the site a little more than the usual since I only have 5 websites under my belt.
I told our instructor that I came here for the Photoshop and Dreamweaver because I suck at the former and I don’t know what to do with the latter. At least this saves me time and money from going to the school and traveling. I’ve been hiring a cab every time I go to class because I’m feeling all rich and lazy, as if I don’t have bills to pay. I need to cut back on this.
Going back, I guess I’ll have more time for myself until next week.
So this is the first day of my Web Design class at Informatics at SM City Cebu. There’s about 15 of us and I hope we get more stations to work on. I’m glad to be part of a lucky few who have been given the chance to take this course for free. I was planning to pay for it when the opportunity arrived when I inquired from the friendly staff that they have this scholarship offering. I grabbed the opportunity right away since seldom will anybody also get some allowance once the 102 hours is completed.
For now, we’re still tackling the basics. I applied for this course mainly because of the Photoshop and Dreamweaver topics that I need to brush up skills on. I really believe my future is within web design and development so hopefully this will be something I can definitely make use of.
My schedule is on Mondays to Fridays, 4pm to 7pm. Right after my office work, I’ll be heading straight to the mall to study. Then I can go home and sleep. This will be for the next couple of months. I hope I can still keep up with the schedule as right now, I’m still sick and my body is craving for some rest.
Yes, Informatics at SM City Cebu. On Monday I’ll be starting my classes for a Web Design short course at Informatics. I’m glad as this is free and I’ll even be getting some allowances. I’ve been wanting to study web design and development to learn more information and improve my skills over the internet and such.
I’m praying that this TESDA and Informatics class would be fulfilling. I’m crossing my fingers that my teachers will be well-adept even if this is just a free course. I’ll be dedicating about 102 hours of class time and juggle working in the day shift at the same time. I’m going to attend a classroom environment again. At least now I can have something to write about in this site.
