Just a thought that I came across a site that I forgot. Can’t seem to locate when I tried to Google it either but it goes something like this.

You work  8 hours a day in order to get promoted so you can work  12 hours a day.

Interesting quote but it can be perceived in different ways, depending on how you take it; whether it be bad or good. It just struck me in some sense because of my indecisiveness when it comes to doing good in my career to get promoted but contradicts to how I want to stay afloat in order to have more time outside the office so I can pursue other passions that would still benefit me, money-wise. I don’t want to go into a tirade of opposite discussions and weigh things  in another perspective because I am my biggest critic wherein I end up being lost most of the time.

This is a list of activities I should be doing while I’m not doing anything but I’m still in limbo where I don’t know where to start and what to do first.

• Enroll in a group activity outside work (Capoeira or a Photo club)
• Study a short course (IT or web-design related)
• Get healthy – enroll in a gym.
• Save!

I know I should be maximizing my time especially that I’ve been getting enough sleep but I havent been successful lately. It’s only a matter of the next pay day is what I’m assuming that’s missing. sheesh.

It’s July and it seems that I haven’t done a single thing out of this break that I’m supposed to take advantage of. I’m a bit cash-strapped with all the activities going on plus the accounts d need to settle.

On my Things to Do, I only have 2 left that are needed to be accomplished.

• Buy a DSLR
• Buy a Laptop
• Go/Travel Outside the Country
• Pay School Debts

I thought I’d never even reach the 2nd on the list but I was able to. Now I’m just making sure that I have enough cash so I can pay my old school accounts as well as be able to travel before the 2nd semester starts. Sigh. I can’t seem to wait to earn enough cash but I’m at a loss where to go for that extra income. Sure, there’s blogging, but I’m just tired of looking for other opportunities and I can’t seem to wait anymore. Anybody who has some money-making tips fast? PS: Go away Spammers.
