But I still have two days until the week is over and I can go home and rest properly on the bed. I should take some load off my back in order to be more at ease and less stressed. But come to think of it, I usually work best under pressure. I just never thought I’d be this vulnerable.I just want to get back and crawl and be a slob again.

I need to get this flu out of my system, otherwise I’d be immobile most of the time which is what I hate.

Or I’m about to get sick. Something with really being able to work for hours; my ass glued to my seat and being suffocated by the same air revolving around a secluded air-conditioned room is what’s been bugging me as I was typing pixels away. Hmmm. Typingpixels, a nice domain name to buy.

Probably I’m just burned out. But I know I shouldn’t be, considering that I’ve taken a leave off from school, at least for this semester anyway. Ever get the feeling you just want to take off and be on a temporary but long break? Maybe I should take an LOA or so. But then, I have to keep the bills rolling.

I should probably get some rest now.

I’d like to go back and experience the waves of Siargao again.

Good luck to me, after two months of hiatus, I’m back in ODesk. Hopefully, this job will be my gateway to other jobs that I can maintain in my freelance career, if I ever even have one. i

I wish I can really boost my career here, I need the money in totality but I’m not really confident with the skills that I have. Like any other person in odesk, BUYERS have a hard time looking for PROVIDERS and PROVIDERS also have a hard time looking for BUYERS. When things are supposed to be much easier, because of the traffic or the number of applicants who apply but are only good up to the setting up, they are not able to keep up with the maintenance. So is the same for employees who are trying to showcase their skills to the employers. There is a bit of a difficulty when it comes to proving one’s worth with regard to the feedback given and asked.

I’m crossing my fingers that I’ll do a good gob.

Whenever somebody gives me food *ehem* free food, I don’t refuse; in fact, I take it all! wahaha.

And I don’t know what I’ve been doing why I usually come home late. I’m not doing anything much to keep me busy except for blogging and going to the gym but I should not waste any moment by finding other means to keep me preoccupied. I’ve been living in the office that it’s better that I put up my own space there. Hahay.

I just arrived from outside and I’ll be heading off to the gym where I’m a member. However, I’m staying at the hotel lobby to use their wifi connection so I can update my stuff online. I was just minding my own business with my slippers *ehem* flip flops and all, when a waitress came up to me…

Waitress: Hi Sir, care to order some drinks?
Me: Umm, later Miss, I will.
Waitress: Oh, alright. *smiles and walks away*

Haha. Of course I knew what she meant, it’s either you order and stay or not and go. But I won’t budge in, never! If I’d become desperate I’d take one of the glasses that were used by some patrons who left and put it on my table so people will think I ordered something  but still, I will NOT move. bwahahaha.

I created a banner out of boredom. Hehe. Hopefully, I’ll be able to use this in my friends’ sites just for spite without having to pay. hehe.

So I enrolled, if only for a month. Now my joints are aching for the lack of any strenuous physical activity. But this is only temporary for sure. I’ll probably ask a trainer to plan me a program so I can target the areas I want to develop.

I want to try if I can keep this long enough to get toned properly. I don’t even think I can since last year, I wasn’t really able to do so, and it was more than 2 months. But I’m not giving up. To think that temptations are really abound with food everywhere and desserts too.

I blame Doi for my addiction with cheesecakes. haha. (peace!) But I guess we’ll see, I don’t want to deprive myself of anything knowing that I’m also busy most of the time in the office, I think. Working hard or hardly working? hehe.

So yesterday I had the pleasure of attending a Bloggers event here at the Waterfront hotel called the DigitalFilipino Club and Bloggers Networking Event. I got to see a number of bloggers in Cebu who attended the event and it was cool that I get to see some of the faces behind the blogs. There were about 120 who registered, presumably all have blogs whether it be in Blogspot, Wordpress, Multiply, Friendster or even Twitter.

Anyway, it was weird being able to introduce myself wherein I talked about the 5 blogs that I own. I’m a shy person which explains the feeling. haha.

Saw some familiar faces during one of the Meetups that was initiated in istorya.net but I didn’t get the chance to mingle (read: shy again). Good thing I have a couple of friends with me or else I’d stick to the wall.

Honestly, I wasn’t really that engaged because I haven’t had sleep for how many hours already and I was too weak to smile, though some people would beg to disagree. hehe. But the food was great and it’s what mattered to me most.

My company gave me 40K in 3 months!

I just want to post this out. The company where I work offers assistance for education to its regular employees. I’m very happy that I’m one of the few people who was able to take advantage of this program. It helped save a lot of money on my part just because I haven’t finished my degree. I was able to maximize the time that I had in order to get the full amount per year. I’m really glad because not all companies take care of their employees like this does, especially with the global crisis going on. It has helped me a lot, you can’t just get 40, 000 pesos anywhere.

To think that my employer paid for my school is really something to be proud of. Of course, the money that I saved was used for something else which is really great! That’s why I’d like to thank you for this chance!
