official print out of grades

Went to the Main Campus of University of San Carlos and got my final print out of my grades (finally!). I headed to the department chair after my work at the office and talked with the head.

I’m an Economics major (go figure) but I have plans to shift to another course since the Commerce department closed out all their applications for new students and shifters because of the number that applied last semester. I’m not too sure right now if I’m going to continue this course as I just want something that will make me go through college fast.

When I talked the chairman, he asked me if I work outside. I told him yes and that I work in a call center. He replied “Good, cause we’re conducting a study.” but he didn’t expound further. I just nodded my head cause I wanted to sleep already since I just travelled to the campus because of that piece of paper.

He also asked if I wanted to pursue my major or if I’ll shift this coming school year, I told him that I’ll have a month’s time to decide. Oh well,at least now I have something to present to HR as proof of my grades.

dropped by the premier university

and had  a blast taking pictures of the place. I dropped the premier university since it’s one of the places I wanted to visit in Manila for my business trip. I’m just lucky that the office where I work is actually just in front of the school.

UP Diliman, it’s the school that’s mostly the dream of every person in the Philippines, I think. Anyway, I was never able to take the UPCAT exam so I don’t know how it would feel like with all the pressure.  What I like about the school is how ‘free’ you can be. You don’t have to worry about what to wear cause you can practically wear shorts and slippers when going to school. It also reminds me of Silliman University however the latter is founded by Americans.

Will be posting more pics in my other blog. So far, this will suffice.

and they informed me that my grades were already printed out. Finally! Now I just have to find some time to visit the school so I can take that piece of paper and give it to HR as proof that I indeed pass all of my subjects last semester. It’s nice cause the company where I work is the one that’s paying for my tuition so it’s really something since I can already call it a scholarship for the company is helping me with finishing my studies.

Anyway, I should get it right away as the grades that I gave were just temporary and I promised I’d submit them once I get the real one.

and I’m pooped.

Just got back from a business trip (naks) and now I’m trying to regain some energy that I’ve lost because of the stress that came with it. Now, I’m a bit more confident that I’m doing something for the site. I just need to make sure that I become consistent so that I won’t come off as somebody who’s just in it for the travel. I want to show that it’s worth it.

Anyway, I’m back here in Cebu so it’s a bit of a blur cause of the things haven’t really sunk in properly. I’ll be back there after two weeks so it’ll be something I’ll look forward to again.
